Up to now, Tesla has built and opened more than 1,200 super charging stations and more than 8,700 super charging piles in China, with more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 1,800 destination charging piles, covering more than 370 cities and regions. In addition, Tesla also announced the list of cities expected to add supercharging stations in July, including Nanjing, Zhongshan, Taizhou, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Changzhou, Qinhuangdao, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Huanggang, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhenjiang, Dongguan Jiangmen, Tianjin, Dalian, Benxi, Xi’an, Qingdao, Baishan, Nanning, Hezhou, Chengdu, Yibin, Kunming.

According to previous information, Tesla’s super charging network covers 100% of all provincial capitals and municipalities in mainland China, and has achieved full coverage of prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Shanxi. At present, Tesla has built and opened more than 35,000 super charging piles worldwide.

It is worth mentioning that, according to previous news from Tesla’s official website, Tesla currently has more than 35,000 super charging stations worldwide. Super charging supports plug and play, and users can check whether the charging pile is available through the mobile phone program, monitor the charging status in real time, or receive reminder messages when it is about to be fully charged. The super charging pile has a maximum charging power of 250kW, which can supplement the vehicle’s range of about 250km in 15 minutes at the fastest.
